CCTV storage off-site in the Cloud has now become the added layer of security in today’s ever-changing constant development of CCTV technology
MJ Flood Security can offer full cloud storage for all CCTV cameras and systems. Our state-of-the-art technology gives users access to video surveillance and storage from any smartphone, tablet, or web browser, which means they can log in remotely to view live or recorded video from anywhere in the world.
The CCTV footage is uploaded to the cloud and stored in a secure server system. It is a comprehensive programme that enables you to stay compliant with GDPR rules and regulations.
The management software allows for alerts when an alarm has been triggered. Recording schedules can be set up, and motion detection enabled to limit the amount of data sent to the cloud. The surveillance data is stored securely in the cloud, and the result is a powerful yet user-friendly cloud video surveillance that is also highly scalable. Cloud storage can be added to your existing CCTV setup and act as a backup to the local recorder, or can operate as a totally independent standalone solution.
MJ Flood Security has partnered with Videoloft. The Videoloft software runs on a small bridging device called a Cloud Adapter. Pairing the hardware with the Videoloft cloud is done via the Videoloft smartphone app (available on Apple and Android).
Once the setup is complete, you will be able to view your camera live stream and recorded video events through the Videoloft app and website. Recorded video events are saved in the Videoloft cloud for the duration of your cloud recording plan.
Getting cloud storage for your security cameras is easy:
Our Cloud Adapter is available in an 8 or 16-channel version, and there’s a 64-channel 19” rack-mounted solution for larger CCTV installations.
Don’t leave your CCTV footage tucked away waiting only to be used after incidents have already unfolded. Instead, ensure your security is proactive and intelligent with remote video access, instant alerts, and a number of other features.
Smart surveillance is accessible to anyone.

Privacy Concerns:
The growth of CCTV cameras has raised concerns about privacy. People argue that ever-present surveillance violate individual rights, leading to a “Big Brother” society.
Data Security:
Storing and managing the vast amounts of data generated by CCTV systems poses significant challenges in terms of data security. Unauthorised access to these systems can have severe consequences.
Technical Limitations:
CCTV systems can suffer from technical limitations such as blind spots, low-light conditions, and the need for continuous monitoring. These limitations can reduce the effectiveness of the system.
Striking a balance between public safety and individual privacy is essential. Key considerations include:
Consent: It’s crucial to obtain consent when using CCTV in private spaces or when recording individuals. Clear signage can inform people that they are under surveillance.
Data Retention: Limiting the retention of surveillance footage is necessary to prevent unwanted intrusion into individuals’ lives. Retaining data for extended periods can lead to abuses and privacy violations.
Access Control: Strict access controls must be in place to protect CCTV video footage from unauthorised access and misuse.
CCTV surveillance has come a long way. Striking a balance between the advantages of CCTV and the protection of individual privacy is a challenge that requires careful consideration and regulation. At MJ Flood Security, we will create a tailored system that aligns with your specific needs.
